1) What would the world like to know about you and your Company’s background?
Video Marketing Campus is a business that I started with my direct response marketing husband Steve Brossman late last year. With the combination of my online marketing and video marketing skills together with Steve’s offline marketing and television background we show people the power of video marketing and social media marketing.
We teach entrepreneurs, small business owners and solopreneurs how to use the power of video to build their brand, their relationships and boost their sales online and offline. Video Marketing Campus provides online and offline training programs as well as seminars and video marketing services to meet the high demands of those wishing to learn how to implement the latest digital marketing medium taking the world by storm.
2) What is your Company’s most compelling Social Media Marketing Goal?
To help individuals, small businesses and companies regionally, nationally and/or globally to effectively get their key messages out to their target market using video and social media marketing. Also to teach them marketing strategies that will assist them to build stronger relationships with their customers and clients and better connect and serve the people who need their products, solutions and services.
3) How are you successfully achieving your goal?
By implementing the strategies that we teach and leading by example. Not every video marketing or social media marketing strategy suits every niche so we like to work closely with our clients to help find a video social marketing strategy that best fits their target market, and the way that they like to receive their information.
We are also successfully achieving our goal, by using the very medium that we teach, to reach a global audience helping them learn the many ways that they can effectively market their products and services using many of the video marketing strategies available to them.
4) What unique methods are you using to measure your results?
I am not sure if they are unique but we measure our results in many ways. For example our video newsletter we monitor open rates and click through rates as well as conversion rates if there is a call to action. For affiliate video marketing I measure our results using the YouTube insight analytic tool to track where the views are coming from and the keywords where my videos are being found to maximize further video uploads and increase my conversions and page 1 search engine results.
We monitor our clients video strategies by their own internal measurements of sales and open rates for their email campaigns. I also measure my results for video product launches for myself and other affiliate launches by conversions vs views and getting on page 1 of Google using video SEO.
5) What is your favorite Social Media Marketing platform, and why is it your favorite?
Without a doubt it would be YouTube for video traffic and video SEO and Facebook and Twitter for video distribution and exposure. We use a complete video social marketing strategy for each of the 7-10 video marketing strategies we teach in our video marketing courses.
Everything is done strategically and placed strategically for a purpose which is to maximize exposure, get message to target market, convert or connect with a call to action to obtain the desired goal or outcome.
6) How much time you spend on updating your status on various Social Media Platforms?
I try and keep it to 15 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the afternoon but sometimes when I need a break I might pop in during the day. You really need to stay connected to really build relationships on social media platforms otherwise you may as well just pay for Facebook Ads or go back to PPC.
Social media is about relationship building and if you think that you can train a VA to represent your brand, your personality, your values then I think you don’t quite get social media. People quickly realize when it is not really you they are chatting with and soon leave to connect with someone who really is interested in their needs, wants, problems and desires.
You will quickly find that those who are making the effort to connect properly using social media are the ones succeeding very well using this new media.
7) Have you had new leads/business generated directly as a result of your Social Media efforts?
Most definitely yes. Before I started using social media I was just a small fish swimming in a very big ocean. No matter what I did I was always playing catch-up and I just could not connect with people the way I wanted to. Email just did not cut it. When I got introduced to social media 18 months ago my world changed.
Within 6-8 months I had Global brand and now 18 months later I am now working alongside those who were my mentors only 12 months earlier. Social media gave me a voice. It gave me the opportunity to introduce my area of expertise and ability to help others in a way that no other marketing medium allowed me to do. It allowed me to help others in ‘real time’ and meet people that I NEVER would have met being half way on the other side of the world. I have gone from being a nobody online to being asked to speak 3-5 times a month globally.
I have built international friendships and joint ventures and together with my husband Steve Brossman built a international business that is growing faster than any other business we have owned all through the power of social media.
And you know what? It was hard at first because most of my mentors said social media was a waste of time. The old school internet marketers did not get it and said it was a fad so I was torn as to whether to listen to them or stick with it. But being a women, I just loved the online networking and for some reason I just was not seeing what they were seeing. It just made sense to me so I stuck with it and that was the best decision I ever made.
8> What one Social Media tip or strategy would you like to share with new small business professionals who are looking to emulate your Social Media Marketing success?
Start using video! Video, Video, Video. It is easy, it is fun plus the search engines love video. Did you know that over 24 hours worth of videos is uploaded to YouTube every minute. Did you also know that 82% of people who see a video on a website WILL watch it and of those 52% will take some form of action.
Video just works. People get to learn, listen, see and connect like no other medium. Trust me if video did not work the internet marketing gurus would have gone back to the long page sales letter 12 months ago. Now all you see is video product launches. Why because people connect and relate to the tutorials, the case studies, the story telling. They feel like they are talking to you and they engage.
So my tip would be if you are not currently using video then learn how to implement it immediately as it is now a MUST if you are to successfully market yourself, your product and your brand now and in the future.

Steve and I see ourselves as leading video marketers internationally with a multi-million dollar business in the next 12 months running seminars, boot camps and online training for entrepreneurs around the world. As for Social Media Woman Magazine.
My goal is to continue to provide quality social media content to women and help them to better connect , network and build their business using the power of social media strategies provided by leading international social media experts.
I believe we have only touched the tip of the iceberg in the realm of social media marketing and there is so much more exciting communication and marketing mediums ahead of us. Innovative and futuristic marketing mediums are just around the corner and I for one am excited by the possibility to learn and grow with this evolving new medium called social media marketing.
