1) What would the world like to know about you and your Company’s background?

Cherry-Ann Carew is editor, author & founder of Writetastic Solutions, a firm that helps writers from all levels start and finish their book. She is also known as ‘The Power Writing Coach’ and has more than 15 years of experience in writing professionally for various magazines, newspaper publications, and online content.

Passionate about helping emerging writers with their creative expression to add value to their books, she mentors others in developing their skills to write a story. Cherry-Ann created ‘Elements of Writing In Layman Terms — A Guide For Novice Writers’ E-course. The Guide will benefit both novices and seasoned writers.


2) What is your Company’s most compelling Social Media Marketing Goal?

To use the top 10 Social Media outlets to give my brand and products ultimate exposure.


3) How are you successfully achieving your goal?

I have employed the services of a VA to manage the varying Social Mediums to keep them up-to-date and functional. In addition, I personally network and interact with interested parties.


4) What unique methods are you using to measure your results?

Google Analytics and stats from the varying mediums I use.


5) What is your favorite Social Media Marketing platform, and why is it your favorite?

My favorite Social Media Marketing platform is Facebook. I am somehow able to connect and integrate with like-minded people through this specific medium.


6) How much time you spend on updating your status on various Social Media Platforms?

Depending on what my day is like, perhaps 15 to 20 minutes each day.


7) Have you had new leads/business generated directly as a result of your Social Media efforts?

Yes, phenomenal, which have led to paying clients.


8> What one Social Media tip or strategy would you like to share with new small business professionals who are looking to emulate your Social Media Marketing success?

Be helpful, inspiring and interact, interact, interact to build credibility.


9) Do you have any “Do’s” or “Don’ts” for others?

Yes, exercise Social Media etiquette. For instance, don’t promote your product/services via a comment that bears no relevance to the subject matter; don’t tag others in your images without their permission, never advertise on someone’s page without their permission. It’s tacky, unprofessional and grossly annoying.


10) Where do you see yourself and your company’s Social Media Marketing efforts one year from now?

Given the success I’ve achieved over the last 4 months (when I seriously decided to use Social Media as an integral part of my business), I see my brand and company doing exceptionally well.
